online shopping sales for retail showroom in Kathmandu in 2015 and 2020.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and
make comparisons where relevant.
Online Sales for Retail Showroom
in Kathmandu in 2015 & 2020
The two pie charts compare the
percentage of online sales across different retail sectors in Kathmandu in the
two different years, 2015 and 2020.
Overall, the online sale of
clothing item and food items dropped, however, the craze for cosmetic items and
furniture increased during the five years.
To begin with, in 2015, the
majority of online sales were accounted for clothing sector with 35%, however,
this percentage has dropped to 30% by 2020. During the same five year period,
the number of people deciding to by cosmetic items online increased and the transactions
jump from 22% to 32%, making it the retail showroom with the largest proportion
in online market.
In 2015, the food items industry boasted and impressive 25% of the total online sales in Kathmandu. However, by the year 2020, the figure had fallen considerably to 15%. Interestingly, online sales of furniture eventually overlook sales of furniture. Eventually overlook sales of cosmetics although furniture still represented 23% of market.
