New Strain of Coronavirus in India
The new strain ofCoronavirus has become another disastrous problem in the world health scenario. In present, India along with other countries is facing this problem. It has gone out of the control. The images and video clips from social media are very pathetic. People are crying and dying for oxygen. Pakistan and China are offering help to India.
What kind of variant is in India?
Every day in India the number of infected is more than 3
hundred and quarter hundred and death is about 3 thousand. The major problem is
not only the number of infected and death of the people, the main problem is
the changing nature of coronavirus. In a small duration, virus produced or
transformed into different shape and form being more powerful and adjustable
with the environment.
According to the update of BBC, the first variant was officially known as B.1.617. It was detected in India in October.
How is it spreading?
The sample test and quota sampling shows that the
new variant of covid has not been travelled all over the world. The case of
India is also similar. However, the speed of this variant, the death rate etc
seem more disastrous.
Some new variant of coronavirus
The first variant of coronavirus
was detected in the United Kingdom which was names as B.1.1.7 found in the USA in the last month of 2020.
Another variant of coronavirus
named as B.1.351 was initially detected in South Africa in December 2020. The variant
of virus first time identified in the United States at the end of January 2021.
P.1 the another variant was first detected in the US in January 2021. It was
initially identified in travelers from Brazil, who were tested during routine
screening at an airport in Japan, in early January.
Another two variants B.1.427 and B.1.429:
were first identified in California in February 2021 and were classified as
VOCs in March 2021.
Will Coronavirus disappear soon?
It has become the headache to all the scientists and
health experts that nothing can be predicted about coronavirus. They are far
behind in the race of coronavirus. After the long and rigorous effect they came
with a vaccine against coronavirus. It was a kind of symbol that the victory of
human innovation and technology against the pandemic but all went into the vain
when the coronavirus changed and hit the mass of people.
Is there the vaccine for all the variants?
Obviously Not. Rather than looking the vaccine it is better to go for preventing it. The proverb prevention is better than cure is very much suitable to this pandemic. Here by observing the previous pandemic and flue it is simply predicted virus will disappear soon. This is not the outcome of the scientific result but the history of pandemic and scenario of coronavirus glimpse such prediction.
Has
new variant of Coronavirus high threats to South Asian Countries?
Certainly Yes.
The reasons behind it are as follows:
1. India is in crisis
The country is the
second largest population in the world is almost covered up from the virus. The
infection rate was below hundred thousand in the same duration in last year but
the picture has been tripled. The infection rate is more than 3 hundred
thousand and death rate is also picked up. The community and government both
are lamenting for some offer and support local, national or international whichever
possible and earlier. There is no plan and prevention to control it and nobody
is in the position to say the final stage of coronavirus in India. Everything
and all the effort has become like a drop in the ocean.
2. What Pakistan and Bangladesh to do with New Variant of Coronavirus?
Since the center point
of coronavirus has been shifted towards South Asia from Europe, the US and the
South America, India is already in high attack. The neighboring countries like
Pakistan and Bangladesh are in high risk. The new variant would obviously get
more favorable environment to adjust in those countries because it has already
been functioning in India. Pakistan and Bangladesh have to make the lockdown
more effective and systematic so that the virus cannot travelled from one place
to another.
3. Position of Sri Lanka and Nepal
The statistics of new variant of coronavirus in both Sri Lanka and Nepal also gear up these days. The
citizens and governments of the both nations have to be serious and work
accordingly to protect from the new variants. The major problem of both nation
is health facilities are not much advanced as in developed countries. The best
medicine is to stay safe in present.
